LAKEWOOD, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Patrol have reported one injury resulting from a multi-vehicle crash on I-5 last Tuesday afternoon.
According to the WSP, the accident was reported at about 2:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the intersection with State Route 512.
Officials at the scene reported several vehicles, including a tractor-trailer sustained damage as a result of the crash. One person was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries sustained in the collision.
Details regarding the cause of the crash have not yet been available to the public. However, several lanes on this portion of I-5 were shut down for a few hours while the wreckage and debris were cleared from the roadway.
