Driver rescued after vehicle plunges into Puget Sound

TACOMA, WA – Officials with the Tacoma Fire Department say a witness jumped into action, pulling an unconscious person from their car after it careened into the Puget Sound Friday morning. 

According to Q13 Fox, the accident occurred when the driver drove off the roadway within the 4600 block of Ruston Way. The man was pulled from the waters by a good samaritan and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries that remain unknown.
