SEATTLE, WA – Officials with the Seattle Police Department took one man into custody following an incident in Beacon Hill early Wednesday morning.
According to KOMO, the incident was reported at about 1 a.m. within the 900 block of Sturgus Avenue when officers attempted to pull over a Toyota sedan without a front license plate.
The driver attempted to evade police by reversing into a parked car and then striking a patrol SUV. The 49-year-old male suspect then exited his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.
Officers were able to catch up to the suspect and take him into custody on a number of charges including assault, unlawful possession of a firearm as well as narcotics.
