Collision causes rush-hour delays on I-5

SEATTLE, WA – Officials with the Seattle Polie Department were forced to close at least one lane along I-5 following a rush-hour collision Tuesday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the Washington State Department of Transportation, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 south of State Route 520

On I-5 northbound just south of SR 520 there is a collision blocking the left lane.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision. However, commuters in East Lake faced delays throughout Tuesday morning’s rush-hour.
