SEATTLE, WA – According to KING 5, a driver was hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Dakota Street Friday night.
The two drivers collided around 10:20 p.m. The crash blocked the light rail tracks and took out a fire hydrant, a tree, and a pedestrian walkway sign.
Following the crash, one driver fled on foot. Authorities caught and arrested them. The suspect had multiple warrants.
First responders transported the other driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Seattle Police Department is investigating the incident.
