LACEY, WA – Five people were hospitalized following a four-vehicle crash in Lacey caused by a driver fleeing police Saturday afternoon, according to FOX 13.

A 19-year-old was allegedly driving a 2014 Dodge Charger recklessly on College Street Southeast when an officer tried to pull them over around 3:15 p.m.

The driver sped off and crashed into three other vehicles near 14th Avenue Southeast & Ruddell Road Southeast.

First responders transported five people, including the Charger driver, to an area hospital. They ranged in age from 16 to 67 years old.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene for around 4 hours.
