TACOMA, WA – A person died following a fatal pedestrian crash on Interstate 705 Tuesday night, according to FOX 13.
A pedestrian was walking in the southbound lanes of Interstate 705 near South 23rd Street when he was struck by four vehicles around 11:27 p.m.
The pedestrian died in the accident.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
Following the crash, crews shut down the area to process the scene for four hours and 21 minutes.
Authorities believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
