KING COUNTY, WA – Authorities were called to the scene of a vehicle wreck late Friday afternoon on Interstate 405 in Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The incident occurred on the ramp connecting northbound I-405 to westbound State Route 520. WSDOT’s Incident Response crews and Washington State Patrol troopers were dispatched to the area at around 4:37 p.m.
Very few details have been released at this time, but the scene had the ramp shut down. Commuters were asked to seek alternate routes to avoid delays in the area.
By 5:06 p.m., the scene had been cleared to the right shoulder, leaving the ramp open to traffic.
