News: Driver strikes, kills pedestrian near Pacific Lutheran University

PARKLAND, WA – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near WA 7 and 123rd St S Monday night, according to KING 5.

The driver was heading south when they hit the victim around 7:50 p.m. The victim died in the wreck. The driver did not stop.

Crews shut down the area to process the scene following the collision. The area was reopened around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities located the suspect and their vehicle nearby. They arrested the suspect.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
