EVERETT, WA – According to KIRO 7, a driver was hurt after they slammed into Althea’s Footwear Solutions at 1932 Broadway on Sunday.
The car was heading north on Broadway when it strayed into the southbound lanes, struck a light pole, and plowed into the store around 3 p.m.
Emergency crews stabilized the store and extricated the driver using the Jaws of Life. It took the crews around 50 minutes.
First responders transported the driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Everett Police Department is investigating the incident.
