SEATTLE, WA – Eight people were hurt when a driver, allegedly involved in a street race, collided head-on with another vehicle on the 2500 block of Westlake Ave N on Sunday, according to KING 5.
Witnesses saw the driver of a white Acura sedan racing another vehicle south on Westlake Ave at around 2 a.m. when the Acura drove into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Ford Explorer.
First responders transported eight people to area hospitals. Three of those patients were listed in critical condition and two in serious condition.
Authorities found the Acura driver to be impaired and arrested them for vehicular assault.
