KITSAP COUNTY, WA – According to FOX 13, four people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision on WA 3 near the Hood Canal Bridge Thursday.
The drivers of a Toyota and a Mazda were heading south on WA 3, while a Hyundai driver was heading north. The Mazda driver slowed down to turn left when the Toyota driver swerved into oncoming traffic and hit the rear of the Mazda before slamming head-on into the Hyundai.
Authorities arrested the 36-year-old man driving the Toyota for DUI and vehicular assault. He was injured in the collision.
Two of the three people in the Hyundai were hurt. The Mazda driver was also injured.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
