News: Hit-and-run driver strikes 3 people in University District

SEATTLE, WA – A hit-and-run driver collided with three people near 5th Ave NE and NE 45th St on Friday, according to KOMO News.

A person driving a white Kia Soul ran a red light and hit two 21-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman in a crosswalk around 1:30 p.m.

First responders treated the victims at the scene before transporting them to an area hospital. One of the 21-year-old men remains in the hospital.

Authorities located the Kia near Magnuson Park. They apprehended a suspect fleeing from the police and are working to determine if the person is the hit-and-run driver.
