News: 16-year-old dies following wreck while possibly eluding police in Bothell

BOTHELL, WA – A 16-year-old driver may have been eluding Lake Forest Park Police when he crashed and died on the 24200 block of Locust Way on Saturday, according to KIRO 7.

The driver was heading north on Locust Way when he turned too fast, strayed off the west side of the road, and collided with a fence around 1:59 a.m.

First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported two passengers to an area hospital for evaluation.

Officials have not released the teen’s name.
