BREMERTON, WA – According to KOMO, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a hit-and-run driver who hit a woman in the Happy Laundromat parking lot at 4814 WA 303 on Sept. 21, 2024.
Judy Gail Smith, 69, was driving a silver Chevrolet van when she allegedly ran over Denice Noice, 64, around 6:15 p.m.
First responders transported Noice to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Smith reportedly stopped briefly before fleeing the scene.
Surveillance cameras caught the incident. Deputies were able to see Smith’s license plate number from the footage.
Smith had no known address. Deputies found the van abandoned in Bremerton shortly after the incident.
Authorities are still working to locate Smith. They urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Kitsap County Sheriff’s office.
