KENT, WA – Two people were hurt in a wrong-way collision on WA 167 near S 277th St on Sunday, according to KIRO 7.
Jose F. Zacarias Sebastian, 22, was driving south in the northbound lanes of WA 167 when he sideswiped another vehicle before slamming head-on with another vehicle around 3:08 a.m.
Sebastian’s vehicle and the vehicle he collided head-on with then caught fire.
Both the wrong-way vehicle and the vehicle it struck head-on caught fire.
Emergency crews transported Sebastian and the driver of the vehicle he hit head-on to area hospitals.
Authorities charged Sebastian with vehicular assault.
Following the collision, crews shut down the area for over three hours to process the scene.
