TACOMA, WA – Prosecutors will not charge a school bus driver for fatally striking a woman near S 11th St and S I St on Oct. 4, according to KING 5.
The school bus driver collided with Brittanee Parker, 32, as she walked her dog in the morning near her apartment. The school bus driver thought she had hit the dog and continued driving when she saw the dog walking away.
Parker died from her injuries.
Prosecutors determined there is no evidence the school bus driver was operating the bus recklessly or knowingly hit a person and will press charges against the driver.
