SEATTLE, WA – Authorities arrested a woman for a suspected DUI crash into Lake Washington near the Atlantic City Boat Ramp on Seward Park Ave S that injured a teen girl on Saturday, according to KIRO 7.
A 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were parked at the ramp when the car rolled over and plunged into Lake Washington around 6 p.m. The 20-year-old woman, who was the driver, exited the car through a window. The girl followed the woman but could not swim to shore.
Harbor patrol and SFD divers pulled the girl out of the water. She was unresponsive. First responders performed CPR on the girl before transporting her to an area hospital in critical condition.
Authorities believed the woman displayed signs of impairment and arrested her for vehicular assault.
