SEATTLE, WA – According to KOMO, a judge sentenced a man to over 12 years in prison for a deadly crash that killed two teens on the West Seattle Bridge on March 22, 2023.
Delfino Lopez-Morales, 37, was driving a pickup truck east in the westbound lanes of the West Seattle bridge at around 100 mph when he plowed into a car occupied by 18-year-olds Khalea Thoeuk and Riley Danard just after midnight.
Authorities found Lopez-Morales’s BAC to be almost twice the legal limit. THC was also in his system.
Judge Angela Kaake sentenced Lopez-Morales to over 12 years on Friday.
