NORTH BEND, WA – A hit-and-run driver collided with a male pedestrian near SE Cedar Falls Way & Salish Ave SE on Monday, according to KOMO.
A 25-year-old woman was allegedly driving a gold Toyota Rav4 when she struck a 32-year-old man around 6:49 a.m.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
Authorizes found a side mirror and glass at the scene of the accident. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and arrested the suspect for vehicular assault and felony hit-and-run.
The suspect told officers she was distracted by her cell phone when she hit the victim. She told officers she returned to the crash site but came home when she saw emergency crews at the scene.
