RENTON, WA – A tow truck driver and a state trooper were hospitalized following a wreck near WA 167 and I-405 on Tuesday, according to KOMO.
A trooper was blocking a lane for an earlier crash when a driver slammed into the patrol vehicle with the trooper inside. The collision pushed the patrol vehicle into a tow truck driver who was outside the vehicle.
First responders transported the tow truck driver and the trooper to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The driver who hit the patrol car told authorities they were unable to move over in time to avoid the collision.
Authorities determined the driver was not impaired.
