ENUMCLAW, WA – According to KIRO, the Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle collision that occurred on WA 410 on Sunday.
A 63-year-old woman was driving west on WA 410 when she attempted to pass in a “no pass zone” and entered the eastbound lanes. She returned to the westbound lanes when she saw oncoming traffic and slammed into another vehicle.
A 72-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman died in the collision. First responders transported three others to area hospitals.
Following the collision, the area was shut down so authorities could investigate the incident.
The 63-year-old driver may be charged with vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.
