News: Suspected impaired driver crashes car on I-5 in Tukwila

TUKWILA, WA – According to KOMO, two people were hurt when a suspected impaired driver crashed on the exit from I-5 SB to S Boeing Access Rd on Wednesday.

A 28-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Malibu on I-5 when they attempted to exit to S Boeing Access Rd. The man lost control of the Malibu and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to go over the guardrail and plow into bushes in the embankment.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, while his 22-year-old female passenger was.

Paramedics transported the driver and passenger to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
