WHATCOM COUNTY, WA – According to FOX 13, a motorcyclist died after crashing into a shoulder barrier on I-5 NB near Northwest Ave on Wednesday morning.
A 20-year-old man was riding a motorcycle north on I-5 when they failed to negotiate a curve and strayed off the left side of the roadway before plowing into the left shoulder barrier around 1 a.m. The motorcyclist died from his injuries.
The collision threw the man off the bike. He landed in the second lane of I-5.
It is unclear if impairment was a factor in the incident.
