SEATTLE, WA – A King County Metro bus driver hit and injured a pedestrian on I-5 NB near N 130th St on Sunday, according to KING.
The bus driver was heading north on I-5 around 10 p.m. when a 28-year-old woman entered the roadway. The bus driver tried to swerve to avoid hitting the woman, but a car was in the other lane. The bus driver hit the woman before slamming into another vehicle.
First responders transported the pedestrian to an area hospital. Nobody else was hurt in the collision.
Following the wreck, crews shut down the area so authorities could investigate the incident.
