PICNIC POINT, WA – According to KIRO, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on Hwy 99 near Shelby Rd on Sunday.
The driver hit the victim as they were walking in the left lane around 6 a.m.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
