TUKWILA, WA – A suspected impaired driver fatally collided with another vehicle on WA 99 near S 116th Way on Monday, according to KIRO 7.
A 24-year-old man was driving a Chrysler 300 when he swerved into a Nissan 370Z driven by a 56-year-old man around 11:30 p.m. The collision caused both cars to roll onto the right shoulder.
Emergency crews transported the Chrysler driver’s 24-year-old female passenger to an area hospital and pronounced the Nissan driver dead at the scene.
The Washington State Patrol listed the cause of the crash in their report as speeding and DUI.
Authorities charged the Chrysler driver with DUI and vehicular homicide.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
