SOUTH BEND, WA – A suspected intoxicated driver hit a school bus on US 101 at mile marker 51 on Friday, according to Trooper Katherine Weatherwax.
#PacificCounty: US 101 at MP 54 (Southbend) has the NB lane blocked for a school bus (decommissioned) versus a vehicle.

The driver hit the bus around 7:26 p.m.
Paramedics transported the bus driver to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers are investigating the causing driver for DUI and vehicular assault.
