TACOMA, WA – A teen driver went the wrong way on I-705 near Schuster Pkwy and collided with two motorcyclists on Saturday, according to KING 5.
A 16-year-old was driving a 2009 Toyota Camry south in the northbound lanes of I-705 when he hit a 23-year-old motorcyclist and a 44-year-old motorcyclist around 1:20 a.m. Both motorcyclists were wearing helmets.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclists to an area hospital.
Authorities charged the 16-year-old with two counts of vehicular assault and booked them into the Remann Hall Pierce County Juvenile Detention Center.
