News: Police pursuit turns deadly at King County International Airport – Boeing Field

SEATTLE, WA – According to KIRO 7, a woman died when a police chase ended in a crash on Airport Way S between S Hardy St and S Norfolk St on Thursday.

Troopers were chasing a car that was eluding from I-5 onto Airport Way S. The driver hit a power pole while fleeing from police. The collision caused the vehicle to flip over and land on the side of the road.

Following the collision, the driver exited the car and fled the area on foot. Troopers located her and arrested her.

Rescue crews pronounced the passenger dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
