News: Motorcyclists seriously hurt in crash with car on SR-203 near Carnation

KING COUNTY, WA – Two people suffered major injuries in a motorcycle collision Monday afternoon on State Route 203 near Carnation, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident unfolded on the northbound lanes of SR-203 (Fall City-Carnation Road Northeast) near Northeast 11th Street (milepost 3) and was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson at 1:55 p.m.

Details are limited, but two people were riding on a motorcycle when they were involved in a crash with a passenger car. The impact caused the riders to eject from the bike, leaving them with serious injuries.

At this time, officials have not released any other information about the conditions of the victims. It’s unclear whether or not the driver of the car stayed at the scene.

Motorists in the area were instructed to find alternate routes to avoid the scene.
