SEATTLE, WA – According to KOMO, a male motorcyclist and his male passenger died after they hit a fire truck at Queen Anne Ave N and Prospect St on Monday.
The motorcyclist was heading east on Prospect St at high speeds when he ran a stop sign and crashed into an SFD ladder truck around 3:16 a.m. The fire truck was responding to a fire alarm and had its lights on.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene and transported his passenger to an area hospital, where he died. Both victims were men in their 30s.
Officials have not released the victims’ names.
