SEATTLE, WA – According to KIRO 7, a driver suffered a severed leg in a collision on the 4500 block of W Marginal Way SW on Sunday.
A driver crashed into a pole around 12:05 a.m. They were ejected from their vehicle, and their leg was severed. They were the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Officers responded to the scene and applied a tourniquet to the victim. They then provided aid until rescue crews arrived and transported them to an area hospital.
Seattle Police Department’s Traffic Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the wreck.
