KENT, WA – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on the 11100 block of Kent Kangley Ave SE on Thursday night, according to KOMO.
A 23-year-old woman was driving when she hit a 20-year-old woman outside a marked crosswalk around 10:40 p.m.
Rescue crews performed life-saving measures on the victim before pronouncing her dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The Kent Police Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
