TACOMA, WA – According to KIRO 7, the Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly three-vehicle collision that killed a motorcyclist on I-5 NB near S 84th St on Saturday.
Luis Reyes Garcia, 25, was changing lanes when he collided with a car around 7:17 p.m. Reyes Garcia then hit another car before coming to rest on the left shoulder. He died in the wreck.
Rescue crews treated two passengers in the two vehicles that were struck for injuries at the scene.
Crews shut down the area to investigate the incident. The area was reopened around 10 p.m.
Officials listed the cause of the collision as driving too fast for the conditions on the road.
