TUMWATER, WA – The Tumwater Police Department is asking the public to help identify a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Capitol Blvd SE near W St SE on July 4, according to FOX 13.
A person driving a dark-colored 2014-2019 Toyota Tundra CrewMax TRD with a ladder rack hit the victim around 10:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where they died several days later.
Officials cannot confirm the exact make and model of the vehicle and do not have a description of the driver. They do believe there were other people inside the truck who have not been identified.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
