SEATTLE, WA – A person died, and another person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision at 15th Ave W and W Garfield St on Friday, according to KOMO.
A man was driving a Toyota Corolla north on 15th Ave W at excessive speeds when he slid sideways and hit a southbound Toyota Camry around 10:46 a.m. The wreck caused the Corolla to flip on its side.
Rescue crews pronounced one driver dead and transported the other driver, a 32-year-old man, to an area hospital with minor injuries. It is unclear who was driving which car.
The Seattle Police Department’s Traffic Collision Investigations Squad is investigating the incident.
