TACOMA, WA – According to Trooper John Dattilo, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian near WA 16 WB and S 19th St on Sunday.
Troopers are on scene with this fully blocking collision WB SR 16 at 19th.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian that was in the WB lanes, and I’m saddened to announce the pedestrian has died.

The driver hit the victim around 1:34 p.m.
Crews closed the area so authorities could investigate the incident. It is unclear when the area was reopened.
