MARYSVILLE, WA – According to KIRO 7, a driver was arrested for a DUI following a collision on I-5 NB near WA 528 on Wednesday.
A trooper was helping the driver of a disabled car when another driver collided with the rear of the disabled vehicle. The collision caused the disabled driver to hit the trooper’s SUV. The trooper was outside the SUV during the wreck.
Authorities determined the driver who hit the disabled car was impaired and arrested him for DUI.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
