PUYALLUP, WA – The Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly wrong-way DUI collision that happened on WA 512 near Canyon Rd on Sunday, according to KOMO.
An adult woman with a baby was driving the wrong way on WA 512 when she slammed head-on with another vehicle occupied by three people around 2 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced two of the three people from the car that was hit dead at the scene and transported the third to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. First responders transported the adult female driver and her baby to an area hospital. The woman had serious injuries, and the baby had non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities arrested the woman for DUI and vehicular homicide.
