RENTON, WA – According to KING 5, the Washington State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run semi-truck crash that happened at I-405 NB and WA 900 on Tuesday.
An older green Honda Civic caused the crash around 6:30 a.m. Authorities are trying to locate the driver.
The crash caused the semi-truck to catch on fire. The fire was extinguished around 7:30 a.m.
Officials closed down the area to clear the scene and investigate the wreck. The closure caused traffic to back up for three miles before reopening the roadway.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
