SEATTLE, WA – One person had to be extricated after a collision Thursday afternoon in northwest Seattle that left them trapped under a vehicle, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene at Mary Avenue Northwest and Northwest 85th Street, in the city’s Crown Hill neighborhood, shortly before 4:00 p.m.
While the cause and nature of the accident have not been specified, firefighters were able to get the person safely removed from underneath the vehicle. After an evaluation at the scene, paramedics transported the patient to an area hospital for unspecified injuries.
Officials have not indicated whether more than one vehicle was involved or whether any charges are anticipated.
