SEATTLE, WA – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a male pedestrian near Olive Way and Minor Ave on Friday, according to KOMO.
The driver hit the victim around 9:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Firefighters said a dog was also at the scene.
Police urged drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes while the Traffic Collision Investigations Squad investigated the crash.
Authorities searched the area for the vehicle that hit the man but could not locate it.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
