SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening on 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident occurred at the intersection with Stewart Street, in the Pike Pine Retail Core, just northeast of Pike Place Market. Officers with the department’s West Precinct were called to the scene at 6:16 p.m.
Little information has been shared with the public, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving an unspecified truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.
As of this writing, the department has not reported any injuries or hospital transports from the scene.
