KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident late Wednesday morning blocked multiple lanes on Interstate 405 in Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes at 112th Avenue Southeast and was first recorded by WSDOT at 11:25 a.m.
Officials have not released specific details about the event, but the HOV lane and the left general purpose lane were initially closed.
By 11:47 a.m., more than 20 minutes after the initial report, local firefighters, the Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team had all responded to the scene. Motorists were advised of delays impacting the area.
Shortly before 12:00 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and onto the shoulder.
