SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a collision Tuesday afternoon near Harborview Medical Center in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace area, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at the intersection with Jefferson Street and was first reported some time before 2:24 p.m.
Little information has been made available, but the southbound lane of 9th Avenue was at least partially blocked in the immediate aftermath.
A photo taken at the scene shows what appears to be a bus stopped in the area, but officials have not confirmed whether the vehicle was directly involved.
Motorists were instructed to use extra caution as they approach the area.
