SEATTLE, WA — At least one person lost their life Monday morning due to a vehicle fire on South Trenton Street in south Seattle, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The incident was reported in the 1000 block of the road, in the city’s South Park neighborhood. Seattle Fire crews were called to the scene at around 6:16 a.m.
At this time, the department has not disclosed any details regarding the circumstances of the blaze. It was unclear whether the vehicle was involved in a crash or experienced mechanical failure.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area as officials conducted an investigation.
