SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday afternoon in southeast Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The accident happened in the 9300 block of Rainier Avenue South, near 52nd Avenue South. Dispatchers were first alerted at 3:24 p.m.
While few details have been made available, officers with the department’s South Precinct were called to the scene of a crash where at least one party fled the scene.
The SPD has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect, and no injuries have been reported following the incident.
