News: SPD responds to hit-and-run on NW 56th St in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening in north Seattle’s West Woodland neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 56th Street and 15th Avenue and was first reported at 7:32 p.m.

Little information has been released at this time, but officers with the department’s North Precinct were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run crash involving a truck.

Authorities did not immediately clarify whether it was the truck driver who fled the scene. As of this writing, no description of the suspect and/or vehicle has been shared, and it remains unclear whether anyone was injured.
