SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday afternoon on the north side of the University of Washington in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident took place in the 4500 block of 18th Avenue Northeast, near the campus’ Glenn Hughes Penthouse Theatre. Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct were dispatched to the scene shortly after 3:42 p.m.
While the department has not released specific details about the involved parties, a truck was involved, and at least one person fled the scene before first responders arrived.
No injuries or hospital transports from the crash site were immediately reported.
